Turtle Bay is an open, hook-shaped bay 4 km south of Cape Grafton. It faces north to north-east and houses a steep, 800 m long beach (734) which, toward its northern end, is broken by large granite boulders into two smaller beaches. The bay provides good anchorage just off the beach, particularly in the more protected southern corner.
