Mount Alexandria is 500 m high and slopes steeply to the east, where it is fringed by a 1.5 km long beach bounded by headlands at each end, together with a patch of reef off the northern end. There is a camp, but no access to the beach, other than by boat. The beach faces east and receives waves averaging 0.5 m. At high tide they surge up the steep, tree-lined beach, while at low tide a flat, 100 m wide bar is exposed.
Beach Length: 1.5km
