South of Rocky Point are three small, rock dominated beaches - Rocky Point, Arthur Point and Zilzie Beach. The three beaches face east and are all bordered by rocky points and intertidal rock flats.
Rocky Point beach (1378) lies on the southern side of the point and is a 150 m long pocket of high tide sand, narrowing to 50 m at low tide as the rocks expand. The beach is backed by 20 m high bluffs occupied by beachfront houses and the best access is from the northern point. Waves spill across the low tide bar and can generate rips against the rocks.
