McEwens Beach (1125) is a small beachfront settlement strung along the back of the 1.2 km long beach. The beach faces south-east into Sandringham Bay, with the southern shore 2 km away across the bay and tidal flats and channels in between. There is a 6 km long sealed road from the highway to the beach and a playground, park and picnic facilities at the beach, but no store. On the beach there is a small post and wire swimming enclosure.
