Wedge Island beach (1097) lies on the west side of small Wedge Island, which is connected to the main cape beach at low tide by sand and rock flats. The beach is 150 m long, faces west toward the main cape beach and consists of a narrow, sandy high tide beach, a mid tide cobble to boulder beach and low tide sand flats.
