Beach WA 883 is located on the southern side of the entrance groyne. It consists of a 60 m long pocket of southwest-facing sand, wedged in between the groyne and sloping 15 m high bluffs, with houses on the crest of the bluffs. The end of the harbour seawall forms the southern boundary and an intertidal platform fronts the beach which is usually calm apart from boat wakes.
