Beach WA 800 occupies a curving 700 m long south-facing section of shore between the foreland and the first calcarenite of Point Peron. The beach is protected by the islands and shallow offshore reefs, with wave height decreasing to the west. The low waves result in a steep, narrow beach with seagrass debris usually littering the intertidal zone. It is backed by a generally vegetated foredune, with a central access area.
Beach Length: 0.7km
General Hazard Rating: 3/10
