Leighton Park Beach WA 787 commences on the northern side of the reef-tied inflection and continues straight to the northeast for 2 km to a section of detached beachrock reef. Beachrock outcrops along much of the beach, which receives waves averaging about 1 m. It is backed by a continuous foreshore reserve that covers the 20-30 m high foredune, and then newer Leighton Park subdivision and a water treatment plant set in the dunes. There is a car park and good access at the southern end of the beach.
