Skippy Rock is a series of linear granite rocks that form a low islet that is tied to the shore by beaches WA 621 and 622. Beach WA 620 is located in the small south-facing rocky bay located immediately east of the rock. The beach is a 50 m long south-facing patch of sand surrounded on three sides by 5-10 m high granite. It is well sheltered from most waves, with usually calm conditions at the shore. The Skippy Rock car park is located 100 m south of the beach, with a walking track past the beach.
