Boat Harbour Beach (FI 109) commences 100 m to the east and is a relatively straight, northwest-facing 1.4 km long beach. It is exposed to waves averaging about 1 m, which maintain a low gradient beach and narrow low tide terrace. A cluster of rocks and reefs lies off the northern end of the beach, with a low rocky point forming the northern boundary. It is backed by a continuous 10-20 m high foredune and some older dunes that have transgressed up to 300 m inland. Boat Harbour Creek drains the high slopes to the south and crosses the southern end of the beach, with 4WD access to the southern headland.
Beach Length: 1.4km
