Flat Rock beach (1596) faces due east and extends for 600 m from Elephant Rock to the lower Flat Rock, with the small Flat Rock Creek draining out across the centre. The beach runs straight past the rocks, with a continuous surf zone. There is road access to either side of the creek, with a bushy reserve surrounding the creek.
