Beach Q 26 borders the eastern creek and is a straight 2.6 km long beach, which terminates as a series of recurved spits that form Gore Point to the east. All three beaches are backed by the salt flats, cheniers, tidal creeks and Disaster Inlet (Fig. 6.6) with the nearest bedrock 15 km inland.
