Beach NT 1015 extends south along the bluffs for 1.5 km before impounding a 100 ha mangrove-filled lagoon, with the total beach length 2.7 km, the beach terminating at a migratory creek that drains the lagoon. The beach is fronted by a 200-300 m wide mixture of sand and rock flats.
