Beach NT 1016 is located on the south side of the 50 m wide creek. It trends south then east along a low laterite point for 1.3 km, with rock rubble and flats paralleling the beach and extending up to 300 m offshore. A vehicle track reaches the southern side of the creek mouth and follows the back of the beach out to the point.
