Beach NT 1010 begins as the rocks disappear and continues on to the east for 2.9 km to the creek mouth in lee of East Woody Point as a relatively steep high tide beach and narrow bar. Both beaches are backed by a continuous 200-300 m wide band of mangroves, which are drained by the creeks at either end. As a consequence there is no vehicle access to either beach and no development.
