Immediately east is 200 m long beach NT 1029, a double crenulate sand beach, bordered and centred by rock reefs, with two sand patches in between. This beach has no vehicle access. It extends south to the northern side of Yirrkala point, with a small transgressive dune from its neighbouring southern beach crossing the back of the point to spill onto the beach.
