Beach K 1322 is located 5 km to the east on the eastern side of 144 m high Obstruction Hill. The 400 m long beach blocks the mouth of a 1.5 km deep V-shaped valley, which is ringed by steep slopes rising to the 140 m high plateau surface (Fig. 4.126). Salt flats occupy the valley floor, with the beach forming a steep high tide beach backed by boulder washover deposits. It is fronted by intertidal boulders and bordered by eroding 20-40 m high cliffs.
