Callawonga Beach (175) occupies the mouth of a grassy V-shaped Callawonga Creek valley. The valley opens seaward with the beach reaching 250 m in length. It has cobble-boulder beaches to each side, with a central sandy beach and bar, with usually two rips to the side, and occasionally a central beach rip.
