Yilki beach (162) is the longest beach in the bay, running for 3 km in a southeast then south direction to the base of Rosetta Head. It is backed by a road and the settlements of Yilki and Encounter Bay. This is a very low energy, narrow beach, with shallow seagrass covered sand then rock flats fronting the entire beach. Calm conditions usually prevail. At the southern end is a small boat ramp, and small boats often moor off the beach.
