Factory Bay is a 400m wide rocky bay lying 1km west of Robe township, with the scenic drive (Adam Gordon Lindsay Drive) running the length of the backing 10 to 20m high bluffs. There is a 50m wide bluff-top reserve between the drive and the bluffs, with houses on the other side of the drive. Below the bluffs are a series of six small pockets of sand (130-135), all bordered by rocks and bluffs and fronted by exposed and submerged reefs. None of the beaches are suitable for swimming, for while the waves are relatively low, the rocks and reef produce a hazardous seabed.
Beach Length: 0.08km
General Hazard Rating: 4/10
