Rosetta Head is a 100 m high conical granite headland. On its protected northern side is a narrow strip of sand largely fronted by rocks facing north toward West Island 500 m offshore. A gravel rock backs the winding beach (163) and leads out to a small wharf at the eastern end of the beach. The wharf in now mainly used for fishing.
