Gravelly Beach (NSW 266, also known as Deadmans) is located on the northern side of the head and is a curving east-facing 100 long sand-cobble-boulder reflective beach, with numerous rocks occurring on the beach and in the usually low surf. It is backed by a vegetated steep bluff with wide rock platforms at either end. It can be seen from the head and reached on foot down a steep track.
