Bongon Beach (NSW 264) is a 50 m wide, south facing beach wedged in between rock platforms. The rocks provide some shelter with usually low waves at the shore. However during moderate to high southeast swell a wide surf zone fronts the beach and rocks, and a rip run out against the rocks.
