Blue Bay (NSW 277), so named because this relatively small-protected bay usually has calm blue water rather than breaking surf. The semi-circular 250 m long beach faces east out the entrance, with a low headland and rock platform to the north, and the sand forming a spit in the south, in lee of shallow reef. The narrow entrance and reefs lower waves to usually less than 0.5 m producing a steep reflective beach. The beach is backed by residential housing and only street parking is provided.
Beach Length: 0.25km
General Hazard Rating: 3/10
