To the east of Lyne Park is a 380 m long narrow strip of high tide sand (SH 38) fronted by 250 m wide intertidal sand flats, and backed by the small Percival Park and Rose Bay sailing club, then a seawall and beachfront houses, with the beach disappearing in front of some of the seawall. The first 100 m of flats in front of the sailing club have been dredged to provide boat access to the shore, with numerous small sailing boats often pulled up on the beach. The beach terminates at a small protruding creek-drain, to the north.
