Little Garie (NSW 345) lies around the rocks from Garie, 250 m to the south. It is a curving 100 m long east-facing sand and cobble beach, afforded some protection by Thelma Head, with waves averaging about 1 m but sufficient to generate a permanent rip that usually flows out against the northern rocks. The beach is backed by a small cleared valley occupied by a score of shacks.
