Gunyah Beach (PH 8) occupies the base of the next 500 m long rocky embayment, and consists of 130 m of sand and rocks that face due north toward the Cronulla Peninsula. Waves are usually low and the beach reflective, with boats moored toward the eastern side of the small bay. The beach can be accessed from a park on the eastern headland, with beachfront houses backing the remainder.
