The small Hyams Beach settlement extends for 800 m along the lee of three beaches (NSW 431-433). On the northern side is Chinamans Beach (NSW 431), a straight east-facing 600 m long white sand reflective beach, bordered by the small Duck Creek and a 50 m high vegetated point in the north, and the smaller Hyams Point to the south. Dense vegetation backs the northern half, with the houses of Hyams Beach behind the southern half. It can be accessed from the clifftop car park at the southern end, which also provides a view of the beach and represents the southern end of the White Sands Walk from Plantation Point. read more
