Zenith Beach (NSW 224) is framed between two conical headlands, 160 m high Tomaree to the north and 140 m Stephens Peak to the south. Walking tracks lead to the top of Tomaree Head and out to Point Stephens. The 400 m long beach, faces east and is backed by a 10-20 m high foredune which links with the quieter Shoal Bay beach behind, the two tying the head to the mainland. A car park is located behind the foredune, with two walkways to the beach. The beach is partly sheltered by Point Stephens with waves averaging 1.3 m. These maintain an attached bar which is only cut by rips during and following high waves, when rips form against each head with one or two more in the centre. Otherwise an often heavy shorebreak is the major hazard.
Beach Length: 0.4km
