Wash House Beach (NSW 180) starts on the side of the southern entrance wall and trends to the southeast for 800 m with intertidal rocks and reefs increasing to the south, where it finally merges with the north side of Perpendicular Point. The beach is accessible at the northern end via a short walk from the Pilot Beach car park. It is located below the old Pilot Station that gives its name to the adjoining beach. The beach receives moderate waves at its northern end, with wave height decreasing toward the point. It usually has a continuous attached bar, but rips are generated during and following higher waves particularly towards the entrance wall.
Beach Length: 0.8km
