Flannel Flower Beach (BB 5) is located 2 km to the east and immediately west of West Head. It consists of a narrow, more exposed, north-facing, 110 m long sliver of sand and rocks, located at the base of 100 m high densely wooded slopes, with an eroding 5 m high bluff behind the beach. It is best reached by boat, with no formal land access.
