Bonnie Doon beach (BB 12) lies directly opposite The Basin and consists of a narrow 80 m long strip of high tide sand fronted by 50 m wide intertidal sand flats. The Bonnie Doon jetty which services the houses dotted amongst the backing slopes is located on rocks at the northern end of the beach and clear of the sand flats.
