Pebbly Beach (NSW 151) is located on the eastern side of Crescent Head and is backed by the gold course. It is a 370 m long cobble-boulder high tide beach fronted by a rock and reef-dominated surf zone (Fig. 4.80), with a strong permanent rip draining amongst the southern rocks. The beach is exposed and hazardous and unsuitable for swimming or surfing and best left to the rock fishers.
