Rocky Point beach (NSW 62) is reached via the Illaroo walking track, which also leads to the Rocky Point walk-in camping area, located behind the beach. The beach is partially protected from waves by the Rocky Point headlands, however waves are a little higher than Illaroo (south) and one or two rips can occur against the rocks that dominate this 250 m long beach.
