To the south of Diggers camp between Bare Point and Wilsons Headland is a 200 m long southeast-facing exposed sand beach, backed by a high tide cobble beach and fringed by dark rocks headland and platforms. The beach receives waves averaging 1.5 m, which maintain a strong, permanent rip against the northern rocks, together with a deep trough and outer bar. It is accessible along the Wilsons Head Walk a track from Bookroom south to the Wilsons Headland Picnic Area
