Green Point Beach (NSW 46) extends south of the low boundary rocks for 250 m to 30 m high Green Point. The beach is backed by densely vegetated and cliffed Pleistocene dunes and older bedrock, which also outcrops in the surf as reef and forms a boulder beach particularly along the southern half. Green Point picnic reserve provides good parking and access via steps to the southern end. The beach itself has a high tide cobble beach, with rocks in the swash and inner surf zone all covered by a veneer of sand. It usually has an attached bar, however rips form around the rocks and during higher waves, usually making it unsuitable for swimming. It is more popular with fishers.
