On the south side of Bithry Inlet the irregular rocky platform is backed by an crenulate 770 m long strip of sand called Penders Beach (NSW 650), which is fronted by continuous rock platforms and reefs, and backed by a densely vegetated slopes rising to a central 50 m high hill. The beach is accessible though the national park via the Penders Road, which reaches on the south side of Bithry Inlet. However like the beaches on the north side of the inlet the 'beach' is only suitable for fishing. The inlet and beach also mark the northern boundary of the southern section of Mimosa Rocks National Park.
