Boulder Bay (NSW 661) is located 1 km to the south in a 70 m wide 300 m deep rocky bay. It contains a curving 90 m long east-facing steep cobble beach that grades into sand at low tide. Waves are reduced to about 0.5 m and surge up the reflective beach face (Fig. 4.421). It is backed and bordered by densely vegetated slopes, with a small creek draining across the northern end.
