Between Cocora Point and Quarantine Bay is 2 km of south-facing shoreline containing four low energy beaches (NSW 685-688). The first is Bungo Beach (NSW 685); an east-facing 230 m long, steep cusped reflective beach that receives low swell averaging up to 0.5 m. It occupies a small valley bordered by Oman Point to the south and is backed by a small densely vegetated foredune and barrier, with a creek draining out against the northern rocks. It is accessible by road through the small Murrumbulga Recreation Reserve, which surrounds the beach. Mussel racks are located in the bay directly off the beach.
